TCU Private Car Service
Airport Arrivals for TCU Students, Families & Visitors
Starlink Limos provides private airport transportation from both airports to the TCU campus and nearby Fort Worth destinations. TCU sits about 25 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and 35 miles from Dallas Love Field (DAL). TCU does not currently operate a university- or SGA-sponsored airport shuttle. Students and visitors instead use independent options such as private car service, TEXRail, taxis, rideshare or shared transportation. For travelers who prefer a prearranged direct ride to a specific campus building or residence hall, Starlink Limos provides private airport transportation.
Planning Your Ride From the Airport to TCU
The route into TCU varies by airport and campus destination. TCU’s official directions from DFW follow SH 121 to I-35W south, then Berry Street toward campus. Travelers approaching from I-30 can take the S. University Drive exit, continue south on University Drive, and turn onto Cantey Street for the Brown-Lupton University Union. TCU also directs I-35W travelers to Berry Street before continuing toward Stadium Drive.
For Orientation, Frog Camp, campus visits, or other scheduled arrivals, provide the exact TCU building, residence hall, or venue when arranging transportation. That allows the trip to be planned around the appropriate campus access point rather than treating every TCU destination as the same route.

TCU Athletics & Game Day Transportation
TCU game days change normal campus parking and vehicle access around Amon G. Carter Stadium and other athletic venues. The university closes numerous campus lots for football games and requires vehicles to move from affected spaces before posted deadlines. The City of Fort Worth also enforces temporary no-parking zones on streets near campus. These restrictions make game-day transportation different from an ordinary visit to TCU.
Getting To and From Campus When a Major Event Is Underway
TCU directs rideshare pickups and drop-offs to designated Worth Hills zones and prohibits stopping or parking on Bellaire Drive North and Stadium Drive. A private chauffeur can coordinate the passenger meeting point around these restrictions instead of stopping in a restricted campus corridor. For groups attending a football game, basketball game, or another major campus event, confirming the pickup location before the event helps everyone follow the current access rules when arriving and leaving.

Making a TCU Visit Easier for Families, Guests & Professionals
TCU campus visits can involve several stops across the university. For example, Experience TCU begins at the Brown-Lupton University Union (BLUU), continues with academic interest sessions across campus, and includes housing tours before returning to the BLUU. Other visitors may need to reach a specific school or facility, such as Tandy Hall, which houses the Neeley School of Business.
Coordinate Campus Stops, Meetings & Nearby Plans
A TCU visit does not have to end at the campus boundary. Family Weekend specifically encourages visitors to explore Fort Worth alongside campus activities, with recommended areas including the Downtown Fort Worth District, Cultural District, Historic Stockyards District, and Near Southside District. A private chauffeur can connect scheduled TCU stops with these off-campus plans, giving families, guests, and professionals one transportation arrangement for the day.

FAQ
TCU Private Car Service FAQs
Does TCU have its own transportation system for getting around campus?
Yes. TCU operates The LEAP, an on-campus shuttle with three routes and designated stops connecting academic and residential areas. Service runs during the academic year but does not operate during the summer semester. Visitors with a tightly scheduled itinerary may still prefer private transportation when they need a direct ride to a specific destination rather than a scheduled campus shuttle.
Do visitors need a parking permit when driving to TCU?
Yes. TCU requires campus visitors who park on university property to register their vehicle and license plate through the T2 Parking Portal. Visitor permits are valid for up to three days, with nine free visitor days available per semester, while visitor-accessible parking areas close nightly at 3:00 a.m.
What should families know about transportation during TCU Move-In?
TCU Housing & Residence Life assigns students a specific Move-In day and time slot, so families should plan their arrival and transportation around the schedule provided to the student. Move-In dates can also differ for students participating in certain programs or activities. Prearranged transportation can be useful for families arriving through DFW Airport, Dallas Love Field, local hotels, or other North Texas locations with luggage and move-in belongings.
Can a large group arrive at TCU together for a campus tour?
Yes. TCU offers guided Group Tours for 10 to 50 students in grades 10–12 and for transfer students, with advance registration required. Larger groups, younger students, or groups that do not fit the guided-tour requirements can consider TCU’s self-guided visit option. Starlink Limo can coordinate group transportation to campus based on the confirmed tour schedule and party size.
What transportation considerations should guests with accessibility needs make for TCU events?
Plan extra arrival time when an event will draw a large crowd. TCU specifically recommends that commencement guests who require accessibility accommodations arrive 30 to 45 minutes before the ceremony and provides designated accessible parking information for visitors. Discussing accessibility requirements when arranging private transportation can also help match the trip to the passenger’s needs.
